STATIC ARTS SEPHIROTH (AVAILABLE FOR ORDER 4/17)
My desk at SQEX Merchandising Dept. Office Japan
The infamous Final Fantasy 7 series fan favorite Sephiroth has been beautifully reproduced as 14.4 inch full color PVC statue. I have him sitting on my desk now and I must say this is one of the coolest Sephiroth figures yet. In spite of being made of PVC the figure itself has a nice weight to it with a intricately detailed base. Sephirothfs signature sword, Masamune is also pretty impressive, as it is about the size of my forearm. Static Arts Sephiroth make a great center piece for figure collectors and also just looks really freakin awesome on your desk. (As long as your boss doesnft mind!)
STATIC ARTS RIKU (AVAILABLE FOR ORDER 4/17)

Riku hanginf tough.
One of the most popular characters from Kingdom Hearts has been made a new addition to the Static Arts series. Based on the older Riku from Kingdom Hearts II, this is a one of a kind PVC statue.

New York Toy Fair 2008
|
From the 17th to the 20th of February this year we participated in the New York Toy Fair. This was the first time for us (SQUARE ENIX PRODUCTS) to hold our own booth at the Toy Fair.

To guage the reaction of the distributors and retailers that travelled to the fair from all over the world we displayed many products, inlcuding prototypes of products to be released later in the year. Many seemed to be surprised at the high quality of our Sculpture Arts and Masterpiece Arts statues.

Unlike the Tokyo Game Show the New York Toy Fair was for industry related people only. While there was no opportunity to sell our merchandise the fair provided the chance to network with many international distributors and media representatives, attracting international attention to SQUARE ENIX PRODUCTS.

Overall we feel the New York Toy Show was a success. Having expanded our international connections, fans from all over the world may soon be able to purchase offical SQUARE ENIX merchandise.

I have just been to the factory!
|
Hi everyone, nice to meet you.
Between August 23-27 I spent 5 days in our Chinese Factory.
Firstly we checked in on the production of the new [SCULPTURE ARTS] gAerithh figure, paying careful attention to details of the eyes, face, pedestal and water-base before making a few fine adjustments. Ifm happy to say the recreation of Aerithfs prayer scene is now in production.
After that, we checked the [Masterpiece Arts] 1/4 gCloudh figure and made some slight modifications to the figure before talking to the people at the textiles factory regarding various changes to the fit and material of the clothing. Once the clothing and weapons are finished and fitted it shouldnft be long before this figure also hits the stores.

Left: Factory workers in the middle of painting. Note how full the crate is!
Right: Taken while discussing packaging specifications. Note, the gCloudh in this picture is yet to be finished.
We also spent a few days at the production line discussing the coloring and packaging for [TRADING ARTS] mini Vol.2, [TRADING ARTS] gTacticsh, and the [Final Fantasy] gPlay Arts Armsh weapons set.

After finishing our rounds of the factory we enjoyed a tasty but healthy meal with the workers in the factory dining room.
The workers in our Chinese factory seem to have a great passion for making toys, and wefll continue to have many active and detailed discussions until production is complete. Hopefully these discussions will lead to faster and greater production, getting our products from the factory floor to you a lot earlier!
